Crib bumper

Brinley has been moving around so much in her crib she was getting her arms and legs stuck between the slats. I decided she needed a bumper to prevent this. The only ones that I could find were about $30. I decided I could make one for cheaper. I went to DI and got a used bumper that was still in good shape for $2. I still had fabric left over from the puff quilt I made so I was able to piece together a cover. I just had to get a little bit of fabric for the back. I think it turned out pretty cute. And it cost less than $10!

Sun hat

I could not find a hat that fit  brinley, so I decided to make 1 .I had to make up my own pattern, but I think it turned out really cute . Now her head will be protected from the sun .

Father's Day

Brian is the greatest dad. I love to see how much he loves Brinley. Everytime he comes home from school he spends some time playing with her. This is an older picture,but it shows one of my favorite things,Brian and Brinley cuddling. Happy father's day.

Stylin'

Until we get her some baby sunglasses, these will have to do(just kidding). They look pretty good on her. Of course she looks cute in anything.

Sleeping anywhere

I set down Brinley on the chair so I could make a phone call. I looked at her a minute later and this is what I found. I am amazed that she was able to fall asleep on her own. I just love this picture.

Stay at home mom

Well, this has been my first week at home with Brinley. It has been great being able to sleep in until she gets up, 6:30 if I'm lucky. But then I don't have to get myself ready right away, which has been nice. It's great being able to play with her when she's awake, and actually get things done when she's napping. I love that I don't have to worry about work or lesson plans, I can just focus on my family. This is such a blessing that I am able to stay home.
