We are one week closer to Thanksgiving Break! We are both looking forward to having some time off from work and school.
This week was more of the same. Yesterday, however, was a nice break from the usual. We went to Logan for my cousin's reception. We met my parents and Weston and Kirstie there early in the afternoon. We all had lunch together and then the boys went out geocaching and the girls went shopping. While this would have been a good opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done, I didn't find anything for gifts. It was great spending time with family. Now we just have to wait until Thanksgiving when we can do it again.
While shopping, I found another craft project for me to do. We went to a craft store and they had a pretty fall centerpiece for sale for about $30. There was no way I was going to spend that much, especially when they had all of the supplies for 70-80% off. I finished the project this morning in about 15 minutes!

On a side note, we forgot to start the dishwasher yesterday, so this morning when Brian wanted a bowl of cereal, there were no bowls or spoons to be had, so he used a mixing bowl and serving spoon. In Brian's words, "It was like entering the big world of Super Mario 3." I just thought it was pretty funny so I posted a picture.
