I finally did it!

Brian has been telling me for a while now to start selling some of the things that I make. I've procrastinated doing it because I didn't really know how to get started. Well I finally decided to just take the plunge and open an etsy shop. Right now I just have swaddling blankets for sale, but I will add more things as I go. So I need people to come see my shop and get the word out. Please spread the word to people you know who are buying baby items. Let them know about this stay at home mom who is making cute baby items and selling them on etsy. My shop name is sewcuteforbabies. Thank you!

Case of the giggles

During a playdate, Brinley caught a case of the giggles. She would just giggle and laugh about nothing that we could see. this was very unusual because we usually really have to work to get a smile or laugh out of her. It was so cute. I LOVE the sound of her laughter.

Meeting Dylan

 With the weather warming up, we are going outside a lot more. Brinley loves being outside. She loves to walk around outside,as well as go on walks in her stroller. It's so nice being able to get out of the house and enjoy the sunshine.

My brother and sister-in-law had their baby about two weeks ago so last Monday Brinley and I went to visit them for a few days. It was so nice being able to hold such a new little baby. Brinley doesn't really like to cuddle, so I enjoyed cuddling with Dylan. Brinley was really cute with him. She wanted to hold him whenever she saw me with him. It was such a nice trip, I only wish Brian could have come as well. Unfortunately, he had to stay for his MCAT class.

 I made this tiger hat because my brother loves tigers. So therefore, Dylan must love tigers. Such a cute little guy.

Sew cute!

My daughter is the cutest little girl. I know most moms say this about their daughters, but I think I'm right:) Even when she isn't smiling, she looks so cute. She hasn't figured out that she's supposed to smile when she sees a camera. She's the perfect inspiration for me to sew. I always want to make her something. Here's my latest creation, once again, created without a pattern (I find that so much easier). I've been wanting a denim dress like this for her for awhile,but the one I wanted was pricey. So rather than fork out the $40, which wasn't going to happen, I decided to create my own version of it. The pink sweater was made by her great-grandma.
