What do we do when Brinley gets tired of playing with her toys? We turn to household items.

 We saw two lighthouses. This is one of them.

We found some really cool things in the tidal pools. Some of which were sea anemones (the green things), star fish (by the hundreds), mussels (by the millions), and purple sea urchins (we didn't get a picture of these, unfortunately).

 On our way home we stopped at the Tillamook cheese factory for some delicious ice cream.

Brinley's first time at the ocean!

We went to Oregon last week with my family. We stayed in a house right by the beach. 

 Here are some pictures from the first of many excursions to the beach. On Sunday we took Brinley down to the beach for the first time. 

She really enjoyed the sand, both playing in it and eating it.  

What she didn't like, however, was getting her feet wet in the tide. 

I don't blame her though because it was COLD.

 What's the perfect way to end a trip to the beach? A nice nap. Brinley couldn't even wait to get "home" before falling asleep in her daddy's arms.
