Visiting Idaho

We had a great extended weekend last weekend. We went up to Idaho for my nephew's blessing. It's my brother's first baby, and Brinley's only cousin on my side. It was great getting together with everybody. We stayed until Wednesday morning. Unfortunately, Brian had to spend most of our time there studying at the library or downstairs. One of the highlights of the visit was the babies swimming in the little pool. At first Brinley didn't want to get in, then she didn't want to sit down in it. She would squat, just not sit. Finally after about 5-10 minutes she sat down in it, playing with the pool toys, and Dylan.

Today we had a yard sale, in preparation for our upcoming move. Brinley found a lei in one of the for sale boxes. She wouldn't let go of it. She wore it around her neck, or on her head for most of the day.

I just love my beautiful little girl. How can you not love that face, with those big blue eyes?

Graduation!!

We are excited to announce that Brian has officially graduated from BYU! The ceremony stretched over Thursday and Friday. It was nice to have Brian's mom and sister Amy come for the occasion. Then my parents came for Friday's ceremony. It was great seeing him in his cap and gown receiving his "diploma"(really just the cover),knowing all the work that went into getting to this point.
Yay Brian!!

After the graduation we ordered Brick Oven pizza and brought it back to our house to celebrate. We didn't want to fight the crowded restaurants. Instead we had a nice "picnic" in our driveway. Brinley really enjoyed the pizza.

Brinley pointing to body parts

Brinley has gotten really good when it comes to pointing to certain body parts. She also know quite a bit of sign language. I was really excited to get it on video. She is so smart. THe funniest part is when she watches this video she does the pointing and signs right along with herself.
